The Clinical Observation On Acupuncture For Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Notifying Kidney And Dispelling The Blood Stasis

ObjectiveThrough the observation of clinical effect of notifying kidneyand dispelling the blood stasis acupuncture in the treatment ofrheumatoid arthritis, the preliminary discussion on the actionmechanism of acupuncture treatment of this disease, to provide thenew solutions and its theoretical basis for the clinical treatmentof the disease.MethodsAll the80subjects were from clinic patients of the departmentof acupuncture and moxibustion of Hubei Province TraditionalChinese Medical Hospital. According to the detection indexes inpatients with symptoms, signs, the related history and laboratorydiagnosis standard, the American College of Rheumatology in1987revised diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. All patients inaccordance with the order of treatment were randomly divided intotreatment group and control group by random digital table method,40cases in each group. The treatment group was treated withnotifying kidney and dispelling the blood stasis acupuncture, thecontrol group was given routine acupuncture treatment. Treat oneceevery other day, ten times for one courses, two courses of2days rest, continuous treatment of three courses. After completion ofthe three course of treatment were observed in two groups ofpatients with tender joint count, swollen joint count, time ofmorning stiffness, pain10cm level vision control table method (VAS)and other indicators of the effect of changes in test, statisticalanalysis of the therapeutic effect of two treatment methods.Results1In the course of treatment, the treatment group of1cases,2cases in the control group patients to treatment interruption,be removed.2After3courses of treatment, the treatment group markedlyeffective7cases, progress in13cases, effective16cases, invalid3cases, the total efficiency of92.3%; control group, markedlyeffective in6cases, progress in9cases, effective10cases,invalid13cases, the total efficiency of65.9%. Comparing the twogroups, there were significant differences (p<0.05)3Two groups of patients after treatment with tender joint count,the number of swollen joints, morning stiffness time and VAS scorewere significantly improved efficacy index (p<0.05). The efficacyof the treatment group is better than in the control group (p<0.05).4According to traditional Chinese medicine dialecticalclassification, the treatment group of cold-dampness syndromeeffective rate was100%, kidney asthenia cold syndrome was94.7%,the effective rate of blood stasis obstruction syndrome was81.8%;the control group cold-dampness syndrome effective rate was80%,kidney asthenia cold syndrome was68.8%, the effective rate was50%in blood stasis obstruction syndrome. ConclusionNotifying kidney and dispelling the blood stasis acupuncturecan significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of rheumatoidarthritis, with good clinical efficacy. This method is safe andeffective, and can be used as a new scheme for treating rheumatoidarthritis by acupuncture and moxibustion to further promote thepractice.
