| ObjectsResearching on Ye Tianshi’s medical case towards lungs, in order to discuss therelevant understanding of disease etiology and pathogenesis of lungs. Using the applicationof traditional philology and modern statistical techniques, to explore the regularity of lungsdisease on differentiation of treatment.Further to explore qi activity theory of traditionalChinese medicine treatment of the application and embodiment in lung disease, and playon the argument.MethodsThe basic understanding of lung physiology and pathology of TCM are sorted first.Iselected the cases about lung disease of Huangdi Neijing,and analyzing the herbs’ natureand flavors,enters,ascend or descend by frequency statistics in case records,and figure outthe law of herbs which Ye treated the lung disease,inducing and analyzing the commonlyused medicines, summarizing the basic law ofYe’s treatment of lung disease.ResultsBased on Ye Tianshi’s medical records,this article collects593cases.In593cases,Yeused203herbs.The drugs’apperance frequency in more than30times is in turn: almonds,tuckahoe, liquorice, radix, Fritillaria, coix seed, mulberry leaf, ophiopogon root, tangerine,pollen, Platycodon root, jujube, forsythia, cassia twig, Dendrobium, fragrant solomonsealrhizome, mulberry, prepared rhizome of rehmannia, white peony root, gardenia, pinellia,ginger, rice, loquat leaf, gypsum, Schisandra chinensis, Rhizoma Phragmitis, lentils,ginseng, talc, snakegourd, turmeric, raw land, donkey-hide gelatin, Perilla,astragalusroot.The herbs belong to LU are domiant in Ye’s treatment of lung disease, the second isST,LI,KI. Categorizing203drugs on function, drugs that dispel dampness (including drugsthat resolving damp with aromatics,induce urination and eliminate dampness) usefrequency is highest,the rest from the low is in turn:drugs that nourish yin,expel phlegm,astringent,clear heat, tonify qi,clear heat and relieve toxicity,regulate qi,invigorate bloodand dispel blood stasis,extinguish liver wind and promote yang. Categorizing the herbswhich been used more than10times on nature,I found that the descent and sink herbs aredominant in the Ye’s treatment of lung disease.Ye emphasis on the compatibility of drugs.This article takes almonds as example, listing the combinations of almonds and otherherbs.Through the flexible combinations,almonds can have the functions of govern ascentto drive away the etiology, regular the water passage, have antitussive effect, help todigest and activate stasis then produce new blood. Through the literature review,three lawsof Ye’s treatment of lung disease are induced.They are govern ascent, nourishing lung,clearing lung.ConclusionsYetianshi payed attention on the regular the function of qi when he treated the lungdisease,always around three laws of govern ascent,nourishing lung, clearing lung. This is differ from the previousscholars research results：they prefer to use prescription or herbs which does well inclearing heat，whereas Ye’s medicine is given priority to the descending herbs.Ye focusedon the regular the function of qi when treated the lung disease,and the herbs he used aredescent and sink mostly.Yetianshi broke the former’s prescriptions not only, and creatednew prescriptions,include the combination of ascending and descending, astringent anddispersion,dryness and dampness,motion and quiescence,heat and cold and so on.Almondsis the highest use and combination frequecy among herbs. From Ye’s prescription,hefocused on the descending and ascending the lungs to regain its functions. |
