Objective:This study of36cases of lower extremity arterial femoralpopliteal arteries occlusion with long disease treatment, single or multiplesegments lesions total length of not less than10cm, all the selected patientsare all made of percutaneous angioplasty, intracavitary treatment groupselected18patients implement simple DEEP balloon expansion, the controlgroup18cases with full implementation of the common balloon expansionstent, evaluation analysis two methods of treatment of open femoral poplitealartery stenosis occlusion disease long curative effect, clear exactly whichmethod curative effect is good and more clinical application valueMethods:We choose36cases who were treated in surgery department ofBethune Internation Peace Hospital from February,2011to February,2012.These patients were divided into two groups: treatment group and comparisongroup. The lengths of the stenotic segments were all>10cm. Among thepatients,24were males and12were females. Their ages ranged from45to80years old, with the meaning age being61.7. For the18patients in treatinggroup, we uesd DEEP balloon to dilate the stenosis or occlusion of SPFA.Among them,2patients also had stenosis or occlusion of common andexternal iliac artery and12cases also had stenosis or occlusion of poplitealartery, single superficial femoral artery4.For the18patients in comparisongroup, single supercial femoral artery8,and stenosis or occlusion of commonand external iliac artery7patients,12cases also had stenosis or occlusion ofpopliteal artery.we performed normal balloon dilation combined with stent placement(balloon6*60mm,stent dimeter is6mm).Puncture approach: the contralateral femoral retrograde puncture, withside anterograde puncture of femoral artery, brachial artery puncture, withlateral popliteal artery retrograde puncture combined with the contralateralfemoral retrograde puncture methods. And two groups of postoperativefollow-up of cases at the same time, record the patient’s general condition andABI, a comparative study, the application of statistical software to analyzedata. Results:We analysed the gender with χ2test and analysed the age with ttest. The results showed that p>0.05which indicated there is no significantdifference in sexual and age between the two groups. It also indicated the twogroups were comparale in sex and age. At1month follow up the patent rateswere100%in both groups. At6month follow up, the patent rates were100%in treating group and95%in comparison group. At1year follow up, thepatent rates were85%and74%, respectively. Analysing the ABI (anklebrachial index) in two groups with test。Instant results: P=0.285, P>0.05,thereis no difference between the two groups. At1month follow up, P is0.009(<0.05) which showed difference between the two groups. At1yearfollow up, the P is0.000(P<0.01) from which we can see there is haveremarkable difference. Conclusion:This research shows that, the use of DEEP balloon pure treatmentwith normal balloon expansion joint stent treatment of femoral poplitealarterial sclerosis occlusion pathological(>10cm) long indiscriminateimmediate patency rate after surgery,and30days and1year vascular patencyrate of the balloon expansion joint stenting treatment has improvedsignificantly.
