ObjectivesThe observation of neurobehavioral effects and clinical efficacy with ganglioside on nervous system damage caused by intracranial hemorrhage of the premature infants.Materials42patients, diagnosed with intracranial hemorrhage of premature infants who were hospitalized in pediatric department of the Second affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University from September1,2011to June31st2012were selected, in which male22cases, female20cases, divided into2groups That is the control group and treatment group. The control group was given routine treatment, a total of20cases. The treatment group was treated with routine treatment combined with single saliva four sour hexose Ganglioside (hereinafter referred to as gangliosides), a total of22cases. The two groups were conducted with neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) on corrected gestational age of fortieth weeks and forty-first weeks, and both were given52item neuro-motor examination in the assessment of nervous behavior,at the same time, recorded the abnormal cumulative cases and corresponding occurrence percentage on corrected gestational age after January age, February age, March age, June age and September age.ResultsTwo NBNA evaluation treatment group average although did not reach normal values, but compared to the control group had statistical significance (P<0.01); At the52evaluation,both groups of abnormalities in asymptomatic patients with number for moving backward, followed by visual impairment, but the the incidence (respectively:9.09%,9.09%) of the treatment group was lower than that of control group (respectively:40%,30%).ConclusionsGanglion glucosides designed to improve the NBNA score of intracranial hemorrhage in premature children; The ganglioside aimed to improve neuro-motor symptoms of intracranial hemorrhage in premature children.
