The Analysis On Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Services

OBJECTIVE:It is important to ensure patients rational use of drugs that found the PIVAS and set up the standard of disposition of the venous transfusion medicine. But,if the staff and hardware conditions can’t meet the requirements, or management not norm、 operation is not qualified and serious and so on, the PIVAS not only can’t achieve it’ function, but also bring the unhopeful problem to patients and health workers, even lead serious accident.The objective of the study is finally give constructive comment of the PIVAS’ good momentum and promote rational drug use in our country by the way of learning the PIVAS’staff、hardware conditions and management of our country now, discusses its function and role to find the problem and compare with the developed countries.Methods:Data studies:Data studies belongs to the kind of non-contact methods which means collecting、identifying、organizing the literature and have the understanding of the fact、the science by the way of learning literature. Data studies obtain the secondary source data. The study use the data studies to learn about the history、 present situations、significance、problem of PIVAS at home and abroad.Survey research:It is a method that can get first-hand information. Using the individual as the unit of analysis, survey research usually through sampling、 questionnaire survey、 interviews and other methods to learn or analysis objects’ information to research. Survey research is a commonly used method of scientific research, which is widespread use in descriptive、explanatory and exploratory study. Throughing sending a brief questionnaire to respondents, asking the opinion on relevant issues to get material and information is the questionnaire survey what the survey research frequently use. Our study is using questionnaire survey to obtain the first-hand information of the PIVAS. Method of comparative study:According to a certain standard, it is investigate two or more than two objects to find their similarities and differences to explore universal law and special law. Our study hope to find our country’present problems and the way to solve it by comparing the PIVAS’law between United states and china.Results and conclusion:The establishment of intravenous drug control center provides patients with safer full-close infusion system. Emphasis on safe、effective、reasonable and economic using of drug and humanized pharmaceutical care is beneficial to promote the development of clinical pharmacy, even make the hospital’ management on a new step.The function and meaning of establishing the intravenous drug control center:(1) ensure the quality of intravenous infusion and medication security;(2) it’ good to centralized drug management, prevent the loss of drugs, reduce medical waste and health care costs;(3) it’ conductive to enhance the protection of medical workers and protect medical environment;(4) promote rational using clinical drug and improve the role and status of pharmacists;(5) save human resource, improve the quality of nursing care improve hospital’s management level and quality of service.The main problem of PIVAS in our country at present:(1) the applicability of PIVAS;(2) security problem;(3) economic problem;(4) other problem. The study of part of the hospitals PIVAS’work situation show:(1) Although the PIVAS’staff’s training qualification review and continuing education meet the legal requirements, part of the PIVAS isn’t in conformity with law and still need to implement relevant laws.(2) The PIVAS’hardware which were surveyed is incomplete with ((the quality control specifications of intravenous drug control center》,so it is necessary to strengthen the construction of hardware.(3) The PIVAS’software which were surveyed is in line with 《the quality control specifications of intravenous drug control center》,but the management of backup infusion label in part hospital is not all right.Our country’s 《intravenous drug centralized deployment of standard operating procedures》and USP<797>all have the rule in personne、hardware、software、process management. Compared with our law, USP<797> have advantage in the requirements of personnel responsibility and training、hardware requirement、management. Especially in the nursing care、patient education、the risk of sterile drugs、 environmental monitoring、the method and technology of sterilization、preparation’s issuance、preparation’s inspection、preparation’ test、preparation’ storage and period of validity what our country’s law dose not have. So it is worthy for us to learn about that.According to the result of the analysis, the suggesting which can develop PIVAS and promote rational drug use mainly including:(1) change ideas, correct understanding the PIVAS;(2) strengthen human resources management;(3) strengthen the construction of hardwares software and quality management.
