Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics, differential diagnosing and diagnostic criteria of Hepatolenticular Degeneration.Methods:The clinical data of one patient suffered from Hepatolenticular Degeneration were retrospectively analyzed, and the literature were reviewed.Material:A sixteen years old female patient was found skin mucous membrane and sclera jaundice during three months, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fatigue. Biochemical examination showed liver dysfunction.Interventions:Enforcement laboratory, imaging examination and other relative tests to confirm the diagnosis. At the same time, the patient was treated by hepatic protectants. improved the coagulation function of patient, nutritional support and so on. Then used the corresponding treatment measures after diagnosis.Results:Ceruloplasmin in patients with decreased (<200mg/L), the amount of copper excreted in the urine in a24-hour period elevated (>100ug), and Kaiser-Fleischer rings presented. The final diagnosis:Hepatolenticular Degeneration.Conclusions:The patients with impaired liver function should be accurately assess the liver damage degree, and look for the cause of liver damage from common diseases actively. At the same time, the rare disease, such as Hepatolenticular Degeneration, which can cause similar liver degeneration should not be ignored.
