Objective:Observing the clinical efficacy of chinese medicinetreatment based on the "Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment ofCommon Internal Diseases in Chinese Medicine Symptoms" in treatingdecompensated cirrhosis.Method:Selecte120cases of patients with decompensatedcirrhosis, dividing their syndrome type based on the "Guidelines forDiagnosis and Treatment of Common Internal Diseases in ChineseMedicine Symptoms"(ZYYXH/T88-2008,here in after referred to as theGuide).Divide them randomly into the treatment group and controlgroup, the control group take basic treatment, and the treatmentgroup take Chinese medicine decoction on the basis of the controlgroup, one preparation a day, dividing twice. The period of treatmentis4weeks,and we will determine the efficacy after2~6treatment.The indexes of the observation includ the change of symptoms andsigns by every patient, the change of TCM symptoms, laboratoryparameters(liver function, index of liver fibrosis),Color Dopplerexamination(measuring the spleen thickness and the internal diameter of main portal vein), and safety index. After theobservation, all the data will be used in statistical analysis.Result:①Analysis results of the comprehensive effect:Thetotal effective rate of treatment group was93.22%,and80.70%incontrol group. The total effectiveness of the two group wasdifference(P <0.05),showing the effect in treatment group is betterthan control group.②Analysis results of the symptoms improvetraditional chinese medicine:The symptoms improving in traditionalChinese medicine of treatment group was better than controlgroup, the total effective rate of treatment group was96.61%,and82.46%in control group, existing differences on the statisticalanalysis (P <0.05),showing the effect in treatment group is betterthan control group.③Analysis results of the liver function:TheALT,AST and TBil of two groups were improving,it shows thedifference insidely before and after the treatment (P <0.05、P<0.01).④Analysis results of the index of liver fibrosis:Beforeand after treatment, the treatment group’s HA, LN,IV-C,PCⅢ and LNhad the unusual significant difference (P <0.05);The two groupswere difference after treatment(P <0.05).⑤Analysis results ofthe B ultrasonic examination: After treatment, the spleen thicknessand internal diameter of main portal vein between two groups allhave explicit difference (P <0.05); There is difference betweenthe two groups in the index improve of spleen thickness and internaldiameter of main portal vein (P>0.05)before and after the treatment.⑥Analysis and comparison of the safety index:Both groups werewithout any adverse reaction, all the cases were judged as security. Conclusion:The chinese medicine treatment based on the"Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Internal Diseases in Chinese Medicine Symptoms" in treating decompensated cirrhosishas accurate effect in relieving clinical symptoms and TCMsymptoms, recovering liver function, reducing the index of liverfibrosis, and it has the good security. But the effect in narrowingthe spleen thickness and internal diameter of main portal vein isinexact.
