Neonates who failed initial screening were checked againby OAE on the postnatal day42, those who still failed to pass theinvestigation underwent definitive hearing assessment by the third postnatalmonth by ABR.Results: The initial screening passing rate was76.36%, secondaryscreening was90.02%,8persons are diagnosed hearing patients. Theincidence of hearing loss was5.5‰. False positive of the initial screening was23.2%, false positive of the secondary screening was10.5%. Oxygen-starvedis the main influence factors of the initial screening passing rate of ourhospital. Conclusion: oxygen-starved is the main factors which influence theinitial screening passing rate of our hospital. Fetal abnormalities, placentafactors, associated disease are the three main factor of oxygen-starved. Inorder to improve the screening passing rate of our hospital, we should preventthe occurrence of oxygen-starved.
