Analysis Of Prevalence And Influential Factors Of Non-infections Chronic Diseases For Adults In Songyuan Area

Objective: To investigate the prevalence rate of chronic diseases in Songyuan area,to know the rank of prevalence rate, and distributional characteristics of chronic diseaseswhich affect the Songyuan adults healthy in different gender, age, urban and rural,explore the influential factors of major chronic diseases. Provide the scientific adviceto improve the health status of adults in Songyuan area.Methods: A multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method has been used toinvestigate2373people between18and79years old in Songyuan area in July in2012,includes related questionnaire and physical examination. The questionnaire includeddemographic characteristic (gender, age, education, marriage, occupation, etc.),behaviors (smoke, drink, diet, physical exercise, etc.) and chronic diseases in last year.The diseases in last year reference ICD-10: thirteen kinds of chronic diseases,included circulation system diseases, endocrine andmetabolic diseases, respiratorydisease, digestive system diseases,etc; fifty kinds of chronic diseases, includedhypertension, diabetes, cerebrovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonarydisease, arthritis, etc. Physical examination had height, weight, waistline, hips, etc.Centralized investigate and household investigate were uesd. To inquire by face toface. chronic diseases’ diagnostic criteria: the surveyed person reports, confirmed thediagnosis of disease at the level of county hospitals and above. The raw data wereinput by EpiData3.1. According to the standard population in the sixth nationalgeneral investigation in Jilin province, to weighted the data for complex sampling.To estimate prevalence and its’95%CI. Univariate analysis and logistic analysis usedunder the complex samples. Statistical analysis used SPSS18.0software.Results:1. The prevalence rate of chronic diseases was52.5%, the prevalencerate of uran was53.2%, the prevalence rate of rural was52.1%. The prevalence rateincreased with age. The prevalence rate of different system diseases ranked, the firstone was circulatory system diseases, prevalence rate was21.1%. The prevalence rateof chronic diseases, the top five were hypertension, disc disease, arthritis,gastroenteritis, coronary disease, prevalence rates were13.6%,9.9%,8.7%,8.1%,6.5%. With increasing of age, hypertension, arthritis, coronary disease, prevalencerates were gradually increased. Disc disease prevalence rate centralized in the55~64age group. 2. The influential factors for the top three diseases showed by multivariateanalysis. Waist-to-hip ratio, age, family history were risk factors for hypertension, ORwere3.078、1.618、2.904; often eat fruit was risk factors, OR=0.797,often eat meatwas risk factors, OR=1.304, ofen eat breakfast was protective factors,OR=0.582.Male compared with female,OR=0.528, older was risk factors,OR=1.734.Waist-to-hip ratio, age, family history was risk factors of disc disease, OR were1.465,1.281,1.843; urban compared with rural was risk factors, OR=1.602.Conclusion: There was higher prevalence rate of chronic diseases in Songyuanarea, the prevalence rate of urban higher than rural, the prevalence rate of femalehigher than male; The prevalence rate of chronic diseases ranked, the top five werehypertension, disc disease, arthritis, gastroenteritis, coronary disease; the prevalenceraye of chronic diseases in Songyuan area had significant relation with age, sex,obesity, family history of chronic disease.
