Objective:The clinical nursing pathway (CNP) applied to the suffererinsulin injection process can make the patient master the technology andrelated knowledge of insulin injection. Also it can control the blood sugarand reduce the incidence rate of the skin local redness, swelling, induration and hypoglycemia. So as to reduce the number of patients inhospital, hospital costs, the waste of medical resources and improve thedegree of satisfaction. Methods:We have chosen210cases of patients who conformed to thestandards and voluntary cooperation from the China-Japan Union hospitalin September2012-January2013. The115cases of patients were namedthe test group, which was introduced the clinical nursing path, the else95patients were the control group which had not introduced the clinicalnursing path. By comparing the hospitalized days, the costs, thecontrolling of blood sugar, the occurring of hypoglycemia and thesatisfaction of patients, we will observe the the effect of clinical nursingpathway in two sets of patients who inject insulin. This research willcompare the differences of the evaluation standards between the testgroup and the control group by using t test,χ2test and rank sum test. Results:In this study by grouping and analysis the210cases of patients with diabetes, the control group adopted the traditional health educationand the experimental group on the basis of the control group wasintroduced the clinical nursing path. Then we compared the variousevaluation index. The results are as follows:①The time in the hospitaland the charge in the hospital of the test group are significantly lowerthan the control group, P<0.01, the statistical difference is obvious.②Theblood glucose index contrast of the outer patients shows that theexperimental group is better than control group, the difference isobvious(P<0.01).③The incidence of hypoglycemia in insulin injection, which uses theχ2test show that the experimental group is lower than thecontrol group, the statistical difference is obvious(P<0.05).④Theexperimental group is better than the control group about the masterdegree of the insulin pen installed and the statistical difference isobvious(P<0.05).⑤The satisfaction of the experimental group is betterthan the control group, the statistical difference is obvious(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.It can shorten the average hospitalized days and reduce thehospitalization costs to apply clinical nursing path on insulin injections ofpatients with type2diabetes.2.The implementation of clinical nursing path for diabetes patients, whichcan increase the awareness of knowledge and improve the successful rateof the controlling of blood sugar. Also it can reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia.3.Clinical nursing path can effectively improve the grasp of the insulininjection technology, improve the patients’ satisfaction and improve therelationship between nurses and patients.4.The implementation of clinical nursing path standardize the nursingprocess and make the nursing behavior more standardization andnormalization.
