Objective:To explore the significance of severity determination ofinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1, IL-6)expression in the acute intestinalobstruction patients。Methods: Collecting the blood of22acute intestinalobstruction patients from May2012to January2013period. and according toclinical manifestations, laboratory examinations, preoperative andpostoperative pathological findings which judged as the main diagnosticcriteria. By the diagnostic criteria these patients are divided into two groups of11cases simple obstruction and11cases strangulation obstruction which werestudied retrospectively. All patients were admitted emergency blood laboratorytests, orthostatic abdominal plain film and abdominal color doppler, etc within12hours. extracted blood3mL from per patients adding heparin serum wereseparated and stored in-20℃. All selected patient sera are used ELISA methodto detect inflammatory cytokines. Mechanical obstruction patients wereselected excluding dynamic obstruction. Results: Analysis of variance showedthat the plasma TNF-α(482.14±45.42pg/ml)in Strangulated intestinalobstruction patients is higher than the plasma TNF-α(329.76±13.38pg/ml)in simple intestinal obstruction patients(P <0.01). the plasma IL-1(34.12±5.09pg/ml) in Strangulated intestinal obstruction patients is higher than the plasmaIL-1(24.69±1.17pg/ml)in simple intestinal obstruction patients(P <0.01). Nostatistical significance between the plasma IL-6(29.95±3.09pg/ml) instrangulated intestinal obstruction patients and the plasma IL-6(23.95±2.34pg/ml) in simple intestinal obstruction patients(P>0.05). Conclusion:1, Inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-1participated in the pathological process ofstrangulated intestinal obstruction.2, The expression of TNF-α, IL-1instrangulated intestinal obstruction patients might be used as the early objectiveindicators in diagnosis of strangulated intestinal obstruction.
