Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the changes of uric and TNF-a in different part of hyperuricemia model rats with Supplemented Wuling San, such as in serum, nephridial tissue, articular cavity, in order to explore the mechanism of Supplemented Wuling San. It is aim to provide the experimental and theoretical evidences for treating hyperuricemia, gouty arthritis and uric acid renal damage with Supplemented Wuling San.Methods:40male Wistar rats were randomly divided into5groups after7d feeding:blank group, model group, TCM medicine group, western medicine group, integrative group. Blank group treated with10ml/kg0.9%normal saline, four groups with adenine and ethambutol hydrochloride suspension gavage rats in hyperuricemia animal model. Take the morning fixing time molding, fixed delivery time,1times daily, TCM medicine group according to7ml/kg intragastric administration, the western medicine group according to45mg/kg intragastric administration of traditional integrative group45mg/kg intragastric administration, after2hours with7ml/kg intragastric administration of TCM medicine. After the21days of it. The rats were not feeted for12h till the next morning, and then were injected of chloral hydrate for anesthesia, to collect the blood from abdominal aorta, and detecting the uric acid and TNF-ain different parts of rats.Result:Compared with blank group, the uric acid and TNF-a in serum, nephridial tissue, articular cavity of model grop were significant (P<0.01). Compared with model group, the uric acid and TNF-a in TCM medicine group, western medicine group and integrative group were significant differences (P<0.01). To regulate the uric acid, TCM medicine group is better than western medicine group. To regulate TNF-a, western medicine group is no different with integrative group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The uric acid and TNF-ain in serum, nephridial tissue, and articular cavity could be reduced in both TCM medicine group and Western medicine group. The effect in TCM medicine group is a little better than that in Western medicine group. The effect in integrative group is not so good maybe due to existence of antagonism between TCM drugs and western medicines.
