"The pursuit of the highest attainable standard of health is everyone’s fundamental rights."Occupational groups as social groups, facing the dual challenges of the general public health, health problems, and career-related threats. To get healthy in high-risk environment, protection is terribly important. Personal protective to some extent, makes an invaluable role.Under the status quo of the high cost of protective equipment, and the imperfect technology, the use of personal protective equipment is essential. This study focused on enterprise involving benzene operations, and the influencing factors of the use of protective equipment behavior for workers exposed to benzene, so as to provide a theoretical basis and empirical basis for the promotion of the protective equipment utilization. In this study, firstly conduct a review of the literature and on-site observation, so as to master the theory and the status of the workers’protective behavior which involves benzene in Gongshu District of Hangzhou, as well as the difference in the demographic (gender, age, education level, etc.). Secondly, make the theory of planned behavior as a tool and the behavior of useing protective equipment as the dependent variable, make behavioral attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, behavioral intentions and other factors as independent variables, and then build and validate the prediction model of the behavior to explore the impact of workers’protective equipment utilization related to social and personal factors.accordingly, propose suggestions. This study were distributed820copies of questionnaires,775were returned, effective707,accounted for91.23%.Use SPSS17.0for descriptive statistical analysis, AMOS17.0for structural equation model fitting analysis. The main results and conclusions:(1)Based on the theory of planned behavior model behavior model of using personnel protective equipment fits better, and can be effectively used to predict the behavior of the use of protective equipment for workers exposed to benzene.Prediction model explained44.8%of the variance of the behavior, and77.2%of the behavior intention.(2)Social demographic characteristics are influencing factors of the behavior of using personnel protective equipment for workers exposed to benezene, mainly for sex, men better than women; followed by education level, age.(3)Workers exposed to benzene whose positive attitude, negative attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control have direct positive impact on the behavioral intention, the size of the influence:0.141,0.152,0.215,0.600,no indirect exists:in additional positive attitude, negative attitude, subjective norm have indirect positive impact on the behavior through the behavioral intention, the size are:0.039.0.041.0.059.(4)Perceived behavioral control and behavioral intention have direct positive impact on the behavior of using protective equipment, the size are:0.586,0.273, that is, the smaller the Perceived barriers, the more favorable of the conditions, and the more intenselv of the wishes, as a result, the better of the behavioral compliance.(5)Positive attitude.negative attitude.subjective norm, perceived behavioral control have positively mutual correlations.
