Objective: To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing service on quality of life incoronary heart disease patients, and to provide scientific evidences for coronary heartdisease nursing measure.Methods:100patients of cardiology department of Jilin University from February toMay2012were included in this study. They were randomly divided into control groupand study group, each group included50patients. Control group was given normalservice and health education. On this basis, study group was also given comprehensivenursing intervention, which includes health education, living care, exercise guidance, diet guidance, psychological care, discharge guidance and3month text message andtelephone follow up. Using self-designed survey questionnaire, the basic information, understanding about disease were collected. Using chronic disease self efficacy scale, society support assessment scale and health survey table SF-36, self efficacy, socialsupport and quality of life were evaluated before and after nursing intervention. Thecollected information and study data were imputed into database, and were analysedusing SPSS13.0.Results:1. Sex, age, education, income, marital status, medical payment method were notsignificantly different between study group and control group(P>0.05). The studytarget between two groups is comparable.2. Before comprehensive nursing intervention, understanding of disease, selfefficacy, society support and quality of life were not significantly different betweentwo groups(P>0.05)..3. After comprehensive nursing intervention, understanding of disease wassignificantly different between study group and control group (P<0.05). In studygroup, patients have higher understanding (38%) than control group (16%).4. After comprehensive nursing intervention, self efficacy and socialsupport, were significantly different between study group and control group(P<0.05). Self efficacy in study group (7.61±1.00) is higher than control group (6.19±1.14);social support in study group (45.06±7.03) is also higher than control group(38.92±8.64).5. After comprehensive nursing intervention, quality of life was statisticaldifference between study group and control group(P<0.05). The latitude of quality oflife in study group is higher than control group.6. After intervention, in study group understanding of disease (38%) is higherthan before intervention (10%).7. In study group, after intervention, selft efficacy level (7.61±1.00) issignificantly higher than before (6.08±1.28); social support (45.06±7.03) is alsosignificantly higher than before (37.32±10.36).8. There is statistical significance of quality of life between after interventionand before intervention in study group. After intervention, latitude of quality of life issignificantly higher than before intervention.9. There is a significant positive correlation between self efficacy and twolatitudes of quality of life. The two latitudes include social function and emotional role.Regarding social support, three latitudes of quality of life which includes somatic pain, emotional role and mental health are significant positive correlated with social support.Conclusion:1. Comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improves understandingfor disease in coronary artery disease patients, self efficacy from disease and socialsupport.2. Comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improves quality of lifeof coronary artery disease patients.3. In coronary artery disease patients, self efficacy and two latitudes of quality oflife is directly proportional, which indicates increase in self efficacy is advantageous toimprove the level of social function and emotional role, thus contributing to theimprovement of the quality of life.4. In coronary artery disease patients, there is directly proportional between threelatitudes of social support and quality of life such as somatic pain, emotional role and mental health, which indicates increase in social support is advantageous to improvethe level of somatic pain, emotional role and mental health, thus contributing to theimprovement of the quality of life.
