Research objective:To investigate the relationships between the clinical effects and the radiological parameters, we analysised the X-ray parameters of patellofemoral joint in Knee Osteoarthrotis (KOA) and clinical effects. The X-ray parameters of patellofemoral joint were used to evaluate the effects of rehabilitaion.Research Methods:The parameters of X-ray characters of patellofemoral joint in84cases of KOA were measured. And all of them were treated with Chinese tranditional methods and exercise therapy. So that we could observe the clinical effects and set up a data base based on those information. The SPSS19.0Statistical Software’s analytical system was applied to do the calculating and data analysis. The Spearman method was used to analysis the relativity between gender, knee-joint K-L type, patella Wigberg type, patellar outflow rate, muscle force and other parameters, age, clinical feature and clinical effects. The Pearson method was used to analysis the relativity between the Insall indexes, groove angle, the suitable angle, the lateral patellofemoral angle, patellofemoral index and the age, clinical feature and clinical effects. While the nonparametric Wilcoxon to analysis and test the changes of muscle force, arthralgia, ability of daily life and anchylosis.Research results:Through the research of the KOA patients’patellofemoral joint radiology determination to reflected the patellofemoral joint’s relative position, including the high-low of the patella’s position, the patella’s offset, Patellatilt, and femoral condyle groove anatomy development situation, which reflected the patellofemoral joint’s stability in different angle. Combined the correlation analysis among the radiological parameters, KOA clinical feature and the clinical effect, we could know that more unstable the patellofemoral joint, the heavier KOA clinical symptoms, and the worse the clinical effects.Research conclusions:One of the most important evaluation methods of the KOA clinical effects are the radiology parameters, witch including the patella types, the Insall index, the suitable angle, outer patella angle and the patella index.
