Objective:To contrast the influence of parathyroid betweenMiccoli operation and traditional operation by measuringpreoperative parathyroid hormone and serum calcium, confirm thetruth of Miccoli operation is better than traditional operation inprotecting parathyroid. Methods:Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups:Miccoli’s thyroidectomy group and conventional thyroidectomygroup. Before the operation, ten minutes after neoplasm incision,the1st,the2nd and the3rd day after surgery, the changes of PTHand Serum calcium were detected. Results:Compared with those detected date, the level of PTH intow groups began declining after anesthesia, with a peak at the firstday of postoperation. The level of serum calcium in tow groupsbegan declining after the first day of postoperation, with a peak atthe second day of postoperation. The dates of M group wassignificantly higher than the T group, the difference was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05).Conclusion: Comparing with conventional thyroidectomy, Miccoli operation is better in preventing parathyroid injury, andworth popularizing in clinical practice. |
