Objective:To study the clinical features, pathological characteristics,Computedtomography images, laboratory tests and therapy of COP, to evaluate the value of CTScan of the Lungs and transbronchial lung biopsy in the diagnosis of COP,which canhelp medical workers comprehend about COP to avoid delay of treatment in patients. Methods:The clinical manifestations, pathological characteristics, Computedtomography images, laboratory tests of13cases with COP in the second hospital ofJilin university from January2008to January2013were analyzed retrospectively.,Computed tomography and pathology of TBLB were analysised to value the role ofthem in the diagnosis of COP.Results: The main clinical symptoms were cough, fever, and dyspnea. The increased c-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate weremost often in Laboratory tests. The arterial blood gas analysis indicated hypoxemia. The spirometry of patients with COP showed for different levels of diffusedysfunction and restrictive ventilatory dysfunction. The abnormality on CT imageswere bilaterally multifocal patchy consolidation or ground-glass opacification,Lesionscan be characterized by the wandering. Bronchoscopy lung biopsy was completed in13patients,9patients were characterized by organizing pneumonia.Pathological changeswere histopathologically by the presence of granulation tissue in the bronchiolarlumen, alveolar ducts and some alveoli, The majority of COP patients respondedrapidly and completely to corticosteroids. Conclusion:The clinical manifestation andlaboratory tests of patients with COP are nonspecific,CT scan can serve as a guide forfurther investigation and Bronchoscopy lung biopsy pathological diagnosis hasimportant value of the COP. the process of diagonosis of COP need combiningwith the characteristics of clinical, imaging findings and pathological examination for comprehensive judgement and exclusive other similiar disease.
