Study On The Correlation Between The Clinical Efficacy Of Sublingual Immunotherapy In Allergic Rhinitis Patients And Traditional Chinese Medicine Physical Types

Objectives:Through survey the clinical efficacy of sublingual immunotherapy(SLIT) in allergic rhinitis(AR) patients with different traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) physical types, explored the correlation between TCM physical types and the clinical efficacy of SLIT in AR patients. So as to provide basis for forward-looking assessment of the SLIT efficacy based on TCM physical types and improving the efficacy of SLIT by adjusting TCM physical types,and give full play to the advantages of Chinese medicine..Methods:Collected30cases of perennial AR patients with Qi deficiency quality,30cases of perennial AR patients with Yang deficiency quality,30cases of perennial AR patients with depression of Qi quality and30cases of perennial AR patients with idiosyncrasy quality in outpatient.According to patients’symptom scores before SLIT and after1year SLIT, compared the each AR symptom scores between before and after1year SLIT in the same TCM physical type,the SLIT efficacy of each AR symptom in the same TCM physical type,the SLIT efficacy of a certain AR symptom among different TCM physical types and the SLIT efficacy of AR patients among different TCM physical types.Results.There was no significant difference in the course of the disease, age, sex, history of smoking, drinking, drug use, allergens and family history among patients with different TCM physical types.So the efficacy SLIT in AR patients with different TCM physical types could be compared. All kinds of AR symptoms in different TCM physical types could be treated by SLIT.There was no significant difference about the SLIT efficacy of each AR symptom in idiosyncrasy quality group and Qi deficiency quality group.In Yang deficiency quality group,there was better SLIT efficacy of sneeze symptom and worse SLIT efficacy of rhinorrhoea and rhinobyon symptoms.In depression of Qi quality group,there was better SLIT efficacy of.rhinorrhoea and rhinocnesmus symptoms and worse SLIT efficacy of sneeze symptom.The SLIT efficacy of sneeze symptom in idiosyncrasy quality group and Yang deficiency quality group was better than in other groups.However it was worse in depression of Qi quality group than in other groups.The SLIT efficacy of rhinorrhoea symptom in idiosyncrasy quality group and depression of Qi quality group than in other groups.And it was the worst in Yang deficiency quality group.There was no significant difference about the SLIT efficacy of rhinobyon and rhinocnesmus symptoms among different TCM physical types.The SLIT efficacy of AR patients with idiosyncrasy quality was best,with total effective rate of93.33%.The SLIT efficacy of AR patients with depression of Qi quality was the second,with total effective rate of80.00%.The SLIT efficacy of AR patients with Qi deficiency quality(total effective rate of56.67%) and Yang deficiency quality(total efficiency of53.33%)was the worst.Conclusion:1.Sneeze,rhinorrhoea,rhinobyon and rhinocnesmus symptoms could be treated by SLIT in idiosyncrasy quality group,Yang deficiency quality group,Qi deficiency quality group and depression of Qi quality group.2.TCM physical types effect on the SLIT efficacy of all kinds of AR symptoms.3.There is the correlation between the SLIT efficacy of AR and TCM physical types.4.Can prospectively assess the SLIT efficacy based on TCM physical types.5.Can improve the efficacy of SLIT by adjusting TCM physical types.
