Objective: By the retrospective analysis of225cases of Henoch-Schonleinpurpura(HSP) in hospitalized children, to observe the correlation between thechildren with HSP of the tongue and kidney damage occurred, and thus we canidentify the HSPN the pathogenic factors much better, provide a more accuratebasis for the differential diagnosis and treatment of HSPN, also can provideinformation for the future clinical application and research. Methods: Using the retrospective analysis methods, we grouped with HSP onsetor recurrence of pediatric hospitalization in the Affiliated Hospital ofLiaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in December2008to December2010according to whether kidney damage, andselect gender, age, season of onset, incentives, and the tongue as a researchfactors, and the data obtained, we applied SPSS15.0statistical software, univariate analysis using the χ2test, multivariate analysis using the twocategorical variables of the non-conditional Logistic regression analysis.Results:1. General information on children:225patients in this group occurredin91cases of kidney damage in children, not occurred134cases of kidney damagein children; There were113cases of male children,112cases of female patients, male to female ratio was about1:1;Children age3to16years, the average was8.4years old; This group of patients the incidence of the season was thedissemination of the four seasons, but slightly prone to winter and spring, theproportion of each season were as follows: spring30%,summer18%,autumn24%,winter28%;Mostly no clear incentive for a total of140cases of onset, they have a clear incentive for a total of85cases of upper respiratory tract infections up to a total of75cases;Western Clinical classification: childrenwith kidney-type proportion, accounting for28.9%;simple skin type16%;abdominal25.3%;the polyarticular10.7%;mixed type19.1%;Comparison of TCMsyndrome: Wind and heat injury collaterals4.9%,bleeding due to blood-heat55.6%,moist heat and blood stasis31.6%,hyperativity of fire due to yin deficiency4.0%,qi fails to control blood4.0%.2.Factors set the univariate analysis, χ2test results indicate: The gender composition, predisposing factors, andseason constitute of the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05);Age>7years(included7years), the incidence of the season winter, red tongue, yellow tongue coating and the thick and greasy tongue coating has closely relatedto the occurrence of the kidney damage, and had a statistically significant(P<0.05或P<0.083).3.We made the gender, age, incentives, season, red tongue, yellow tongue coating and thick greasy tongue coating to the two categoricalvariables of the non-conditional Logistic regression analysis, the resultsshowed that: Age>7years(included7years), the incidence of the season winter, red tongue, yellow tongue coating and the thick and greasy tongue coating mightbe the important relevant factors for children with HSP kidney damage occurred.Results:1.The occurrence of HSP kidney damage may be associated with age≥7years of age, winter, red tongue, thick and greasy tongue coating related.2.Dampness, heat evil is the main pathogenic factors of the HSP kidney damageoccurred.3.Heat evil is the main pathogenic factors of the non-renal damage.
