[Objective] Laparoscopic uterine artery embolization in patients with uterus Mirena inserted (also called the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system) to the clinical effect in the treatment of adenomyosis[Methods]2007March to2010May diagnosed with uterine adenomyosis patients: report of63cases,63cases were randomly divided into group A (n=33) and group B (30cases), two groups were treated by laparoscopic uterine artery embolization therapy, group A after operation in patients with uterus Mirena inserted;B group was not placed. Through the observation of uterine adenomyosis treated by laparoscopic uterine artery embolization with Mirena inserted therapeutic methods and uses only the laparoscopic uterine artery embolization treatment among two groups of degree of dysmenorrhea, menstrual volume, period time, hemoglobin content, volume of uterine, ovarian function, serum level of CA125dynamic difference and postoperative observation of side effects, to analyze the effect of curing method[Results] Through the use of laparoscopic intrauterine artery embolization Mirena with inserted treatment method of A group and joint treatment method of B group comparison showed, in6months after operation, group A and group B patients with menstruation, dysmenorrhea, uterine volume were compared with preoperative decreased, there was significant difference between two groups, no difference was found between; after December,24months after A group of patients with menstrual quantity and degree of dysmenorrhea were lower than B group, there was significant difference (P<0.01); Dynamic changes of serum CA125in patients with A levels in stable safe range, B group appeared on serum CA125levels rise, in December,24months after the operation difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.01); group B patients with uterine enlargement more often than patients in group A (P<0.01); A, B two group before operation and after operation in patients with menstrual periods were not changed (P>0.05), A, B after operation in the two groups were no serious side effects.[Conclusion] The introduction of laparoscopic uterine artery embolization with Mirena inserted in the combined treatment of adenomyosis method is a safe, effective, and minimally invasive in a new treatment method, it is effective in the treatment of adenomyosis, postoperative long-term curative effect is stable and reliable, reduce the pain of patient, has certain scientific experiment and application value.
