Dextran Microspheres Embolization Uterine Artery For Treatment Of Adenomyosis

Objective:Though 30 patients with adenomyosis were treated by UAE,observe patients menses improvement,the changes of uterine size after dextran microspheres embolization uterine artery,respectively at 1,3 and 6 months after embolization.To evaluate the effects of dextran mierospheres uterine artery embolization for adenomyosis in the near future.Methods:Total of 30 patients with adenomyosis were treated by UAE,Patients average age(37.4±4.0)years.Adopt Seldinger′s puncture technique,use 5F Cobra catheter, choose diameter 300～450um dextran microspheres embolization uterine artery.They were followed for 1,3 and 6 months to observe the menses improvement of symptoms and uterine size changes, complication and adverse reaction.Results:Bilateral embolization of the uterine arteries was performed in 30 patients. 28 cases of patients with symptoms have different degrees of mitigation, one of the most significant mitigation dysmenorrhea. After a month, 3 month, 6 month of the UAE ,average volume of uterine narrowing rates were 14.56%, 36.63%, 41.32%. Preoperative and postoperative 1,3,6 months have statistical difference.Conclusion:Uterine artery embolization with dextran mierospheres can an effective uterine volume shrink,improve menses overabundance and so on clinic symptom,curative effect well in the near future,curative effect have farther await research at a specified future date.
