Pleione yunnanensis Rolfe is the plant that belongs to Pleione of Orchidaceae. Diandusuanlan, Nuobaiji, Duyebaiji, Suanbaiji are its other names in China. Generally, we use its pseudobulb for medicine. The resources are widely distributed over Yunnan province. Because of having some effectiveness as relieving asthma and cough, diminish inflammation, ease pain,and stop bleeding, it is recommended for pertussis, febrile asthma, hemoptysis, trauma bleeding, traumatic injury, scalds and burns in most of Yunnan area,and substitited for Bletilla striata (Thunb.) Reichb. f.(BS) in Yunnan folk.In "China Pharmacopeia"(Edition-2010), Pleione yunnanensis Rolfe and Pleione bulbocodioides (Franch.) Rolfe are incorporated in the medicinal materials of Cremastrae Pseudobulbus Pleione Pseudobulbus, in which records the descriptions and the microscopic characters. But, if only base on those contents in the "China Pharmacopeia", it is insufficient to determine the authenticity of Pleione yunnanensis Rolfe (PY) quality advantages and disadvantages, security, it is also unfavorable for developing PY.This thesis study on the pharmacognosy of PY by the botanical origin, macroscopic and microscopic characteristics, physical and chemical identifications, meanwhile, that study also on BS to contrast. Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry used to analys the content of Polysaccharide of different origin of PY. Besides, study for the acute toxicity, anti-inflammatory, antibechic effects and quality standard of PY, it is for further development, expansion of sources of new drugs, to ensure the safety of clinical medicine,to raise the quality standard for PY, and provide the references for the similar research on the plants of Pleione.The thesis main research are as follows:First, the study on pharmacognosy of PY by the botanical origin, macroscopic and microscopic characteristics, physical and chemical identifications.Because PY unusually taken for BS in Yunnan folk, that study also on BS to contrast. Second, determination study of the contents of extracts, moisture, ash, heavy metal of PY referred datas to the "China Pharmacopeia"(Edition-2010).Result:the average of70%ethanol-solube extracts in hot water was12.32%;the average of moisture content was13.23%;the average of total ashes was3.55%; and the average of acid endurable ashes was0.85%;the heavy metal cotent was Pb0.468mg·kg-1、Cd0.526mg·kg-1Hg0.159mg·kg-1、Cu4.645mg·kg-1、As0.423mg·kg-1, among which, the Cd content in the origin of Tuanjiexiang and Dali was0.765mg·kg-1、0.631mg·kg-1, are higher;and the Hg content in the origin of Dali was0.413mg·kg-1, are higher.Third, use Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry method assaying of the content of Polysaccharide of PY. Taking D(+)-anhydrous dextrose as the control sample, with the wavelength is488nm, the detection result was:40.59%in the origin of Songming,44.17%that of Tuanjiexiang,50.93%that of Dali. The method was accurate and reproducible in the application to the determination. It can be used for the quality control of both plant materials and preparations of PY.Fourth, acute toxicity and anti-inflammatory, antibechic test study on PY. Adopt maximal dosages of the suspension of PY’s extractum, it was more than8.0g/kg(equal to14.16g/kg of raw pharmacognosy and106times of people in common use). The result indicate that P Y is no toxic effect. By experiment of anti-inflammatory, antibechic test, P Y is proved that able to show out anti-inflammatory and antibechic effect under some fixed dosage...
