Those1360children and adolescents (654males,706females) were selected by bodycomposition analyzer, including all subjects’ height, weight, BMI,body fat mass, trunk fat mass, upper limb fat mass, lower limb fat mass, body muscle mass, trunk muscle mass, upper limb muscle mass, lower limb muscle mass, bodymoisture content, protein content, and the measurement of bone content. All theresults were input into the SPSS statistical package, and then statisticsprocessing were carries on, such as the t test, analysis of variance, descriptivestatistics, statistical analysis, etc. ResultsTibetan children and adolescents, height, weight, lean body mass, upperlimb fat mass, lower limb fat mass, trunk fat mass, total fat, upper limb fat ratio, lower extremity fat ratio and trunk fat ratio, percentage of body fat, upper limbmuscle mass. lower limb muscle mass, trunk lean muscle mass, musclevolume, body water, protein content and bone mineral content of18indicatorsare the differences between the sexes(P<0.05). Upper limb fat mass, lowerlimb fat mass, trunk fat mass and total fat,4for measuring fat contentindicators have no significant differences in boys and girls of7-8years old(P>0.05).But after8years old its all shown that girls are upon boys(P<0.01);Bone mineral content in7-10years old for boys and girls are equal, the age of11-12years girls are greater than boys (P <0.05) and13-19years old boys aregreater than girls (P <0.01).The indicators of Tibetan children and adolescents’ body composition ofLhasa are compared with beijing and wei fang. It is showed that the total fat andbody fat rate of Lhasa Tibetan boys were significantly less than the boys of theBeijing and weifang Han(P<0.01), but compared the girls the differences werenot significant meaning.Conclusions1.
