Solidago pacifica (Compositae) is a native plant of China and widely distributesin Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang Provinces. Recent research shows thatgenus Solidago have obvious antiflammatory, antimicrobial, diuresis and antitumorac-tivities. But, very few chemical studies on Solidago pacifica were carried out.Object:To study the chemical constituents of Solidago pacifica. Methods: The95%ethanol extract of the whole plants of Solidago pacifica was isol-ated and purified by silica gel column chromatography, Polyamide column chromato-graphy, Sephadex LH-20column chromatography, ODS column chromatography andre-crystallization. On the basis of the physical and chemical properties as well as thespectra data of1D-NMR,2D-NMR, ESI-MS, IR, et al. Compared with the datareported in literatures, the structures of the compounds were identified.Results:17compounds were obtained and determined from S. pacifica, which areEupaformonin(I), Neoechinulin A(II),3,4-Dihydroxybenzoic acid(III), aurantiamideacetate(IV), jaceosidin(V), pedalitin(VI), β-Amyrin acetate(VII), α-Spinasterol(VIII),β-Sitosterol(IX),2-Hydroxy-6-methoxybenzoic acid(X), o-Anisic acid(XI), Salicylicacid(XII), Quercetin(XIII), Astragalin(XIV), Kaemferol(XV), Kaempferol-3-O-β-D-rutinoside(XVI), α-Spinasterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside(XVII).Conclusion:17compounds were obtained and determined from S. pacifica. Compounds I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVIand compounds XVII were isolated from S. pacifica for the first time.
