Depression, as the main feature of a mental illness and a negative emotion has aprofound impact on adolescent mental health and personality formation, has becomeone of the important factors to endangers young physical and mental health. Thisstudy is based on the psychological characteristics of young people, has beenthoroughly studied the impact of factors of adolescent depression of one middleschool ’students in the north new district of Shenyang. Hope to provide sometheoretical support and evidence for the prevention, intervention and self-regulationof youth depression, and to provide some inspiration and reference for further studyof the depression factors of the junior middle school students.In the course of the study, using the the self questionnaire and the PHQ-9Depression Scale measurement230students one middle school students in the northnew district of Shenyang, screening out of the93individual depression, accountingfor40.4%of the population.Finally, the conclusions are as follows:First, depression is quite common in the middle school students, this situationshould be paid attention to deal with.Second, the characteristics of depression in the students from univariateanalysis are as follows:1. Family situation. Including the family atmosphere, and the situation of takingpart in out-class.2. Social life events. Including health status, exercise, physical condition, thedegree of loneliness, criticized the disposal of the case study pressure situation,self-esteem with parents contradictions, more prominent event of trauma, catastrophic events, and psychological quality self-assessment situation, causing theindividual depression.Third,multivariate analysis was the secondary school students and depressionrisk factors include the following: family atmosphere, to participate inextra-curricular learning, health, loneliness level, criticized the punishment andlearning of pressure.
