| Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Wantong Jingu Babu plaster in treatment of Frozen shoulder.Methods:Adopting randomized double-blind and placebo comparison method of clinical trial,24patients with Frozen shoulder were randomly divided into the treatment group(treated with Wantong Jingu Babu plaster)and the control group(treated with placebo). All the patients were treated with two pieces of plaster and changed dressing to the acupuncture points of Huitu and Jianliao every time for15±2h. and once a day. The treatment for both groups continued for3weeks and patient’s clinical symptoms were observed.Results:Efficacy of shoulder function with FAS analysis(PPS analysis):after treatment for one week in the placebo group the effective rate was0.00%(0.00%),and in the treatment group the rate was0.00%(0.00%); after treatment for two weeks in the placebo group the effective rate was8.33%(8.33%),and in the treatment group the rate was8.33%(8.33%); after treatment for three weeks in the placebo group the effective rate was16.67%(16.67%),and in the treatment group the rate was66.66%(66.66%).Efficacy of TCM symptoms after treatment for three weeks with FAS analysis(PPS analysis):in the placebo group the markedly rate was25.00%(25.00%)、the effective rate was16.67%(16.67%)、the invalid rate was58.33%(58.33%); in the treatment group the markedly rate was50.00%(50.00%)、the effective rate was33.33%(33.33%)、the invalid rate was16.67%(16.67%).Individual symptom scores and efficacy:in the own contrast of symptom scores and baseline before and after treatment, there were significant statistical significance, and the analysis conclusions of FAS and PPS was consistent. in the treatment group, there was no significant discomfort reaction during treatment.Conclusion:The clinical effects of treatment with Wantong Jingu Babu plaster in Frozen shoulder (syndrome of cold locking the collaterals) were confirmed, which is safe and effective In Clinical use. |
