Objective:To observe the effect of preeclampsia on fetal lung maturity. Methods:The Wistar pregnant rats were randomly divided into control group and modelgroup which were intraperitoneal injected with L-NAME. At the20th day of pregnencyfetal rats lung was taken out and divided into two parts: the first part was dyed with HEstaining and observed with microscope, while the second part was used for extracting RNAwhich was tested with Real-timePCR to detect HIF-1alpha, VEGF, SP-B and SP-C mRNAexpression. Results: HE staining shows that the pulmonary vascular and trachea development ofpreeclampsia preterm group is better than that of normal premature group; Real-time PCRof tissue indicates that HIF-1alpha, VEGF, the SP-B and SP-C mRNA expression level innormal full-term group is higher than that in both normal preterm group and preeclampsiapreterm group (P <0.05); HIF-1alpha and VEGF mRNA expression level in preeclampsiapreterm group is higher than that in normal preterm group(P <0.05);Preeclampsia pretermgroup compared with normal preterm group has no significant difference in the SP-B andSP-C mRNA expression level(P>0.05).Conclusion:Preeclampsia can accelerate the structure maturity of the fetal lung, but ithas no significant effect on alveolar function.
