Amblyopia is a visual development correlation disease which can damage the children’s vision severely, and the higher the disease degree, the more effect on the vision. As the research demonstrate, amblyopia can not only have effect on the perception, but also effect the cognition, attention and other part of process of psychology. Self is one essential part that can reflect the nature human psychology. Self consciousness is an important part of self. However, there is little research on the amblyopia children’s self-consciousness. Through research to understand the amblyopia children’s self consciousness development level, compared with that of amblyopia in children and normal children in psychological functional differences; for children with amblyopia psychological function of providing basis, thus helping the amblyopic children better return to society. At the same time, more understanding and attention should be paid to this special group of children, which are also benefit to the treatment.Self consciousness contained the perceived self, the memory self and the introspection self. These3levels of self are from the shallower to the deeper and were used for the amblyopia children’s self study series. The research1was a3(face:self-face, familiar face, unfamiliar face)×3(visual condition:two eyes, amblyopia eye, normal eye) and3(voice:self-voice, familiar voice, unfamiliar voice)×2(position:left hand, right hand) within group experiment design. The second research contained2experiments, and both adopted the interviewing method. We judged the participants’ autobiographical memory from the level of the4dimensions including logical, content, initiative and movement. The experiment2judged the time mental travel ability through past and future time. Research3contained2experiments. Experiment1was a2(reference:self-reference, other-reference)×2(words:positive words, negative words) mixed experiment design, the reference is the between group variable and the words is the within group variable; and the free recall rate is the dependent variables. Experiment2was a2(group:normal group, amblyopia group)×2(reference:self state, common sense) mixed experiment design, the group is the between group variable and the reference is the within group variable; the reaction time and the correct score are the dependent variables. The research showed that①the4-6years amblyopia children can identify face through inner figure of the faces. The correct rate of face identification is significant different. The male get significant higher correct rate than female. The reaction time between the unfamiliar face and self face is significant different, unfamiliar face is faster than the self face.②the correct rate of familiar voice was significant higher than the unfamiliar voice and self voice for the4-6amblyopia children. amblyopia③On the logical, content, initiative and movement dimensions of autobiographical memory, the amblyopia group had significant lower score than the normal group.④There’s no significant difference between the amblyopia children and normal children on the mental time travel ability.⑤Both the5-year old normal children and the amblyopia children didn’t have the self reference effect on the adjective condition.⑥The normal5-year children showed significant reaction time between different reference sentences. The reaction time for the common sense sentence is significantly faster than the reaction time for the self state. There’s also significant difference between the heterogeneity sentences. The sentences which were judged as positive had more scores to describe oneself than the negative sentences, and this trend had no significant between the normal children and the amblyopia children. We can draw conclusion from the researches that the4-6years amblyopia children can identify their own face through inner figure of the face Male face had higher correct identification rate than female. For the amblyopia children, it’s easier to recognize the unfamiliar face. The ability of the amblyopia eye to recognize face photos can be promoted through the cognition training.4-6years amblyopia children can recognize voice easier. The amblyopia children had bad autobiographical memory than the normal children. The4-year old amblyopia children have the mental time travel capacity which is as good as the normal children.5-year old children, both normal and amblyopia one, didn’t show the self-reference effect under the adjective condition. The5years children had longer process time of the self description sentences than the common sense sentences and have a trend to judge them in a positive way. There’s no significant difference between the amblyopia children and normal children on the introspection memory.
