The Research On The Relationship Between Executive Function And Impulsive Personality Of Heroin Reliers

The study elected long-term heroin dependent from a voluntary drugrehabilitation center in Fo shan city, Guangdong province for the sample. The studymainly discusses the relationship of personality characteristics and executive function(including cognitive ability to switch, working memory refresh capabilities and theability to inhibit interference)，and researched the influencing factors of them, anddiscussed the prediction function of personality characteristics to executivefunction(including cognitive ability to switch, working memory refresh capabilitiesand the ability to inhibit interference).Comprehensive the results of this study, the main conclusion are following:1.Heroin dependents`executive function including cognitive ability to switch,inhibitory ability and working memory refresh capabilities is significantly differentffrom the normal group.2. Executive function（transfer function，notching capability） have relationshipwith age、education；with working memory refresh capability is not significant3.Heroin addicted patients’ compulsive characteristics, including attentionalimpulsiveness、motor impulsiveness and non-planning impulsiveness is significantlyhigher than normal group.4.The ways and time for rehabilitation influence impulsiveness5.Heroin dependents`personality is related to the executive function.6. Impulsive personality include three dimensions can be used to predictcognitive transfer function.7.Impulsive personality include three dimensions can be used to predict cognitivenotching capability.8. The significance of impulsive personality include three dimensions that usedto predict Working memory refresh capability is not significant.
