ObjectiveInvestigate the clinical,biochemical characteristics and arteriosclerosis situation of the dampness constitution of the patients with essential hypertensionMethods1.239cases of patients with essential hypertension,for treatment at the Fujian Provincial Hospital Department of Cardiology, Chinese medicine outpatient clinics and hospital confirmed,February2011to February2012.Determine the classification criteria according to classification standards of the dampness of Professor Wang Qi,moreover determine and fill in the constitution of TCM identification table. Including dampness constitution (59cases), non-dampness constitution(80cases).In addition, selecting arteriosclerosis detection of75patients with essential hypertension, phlegm group of44cases,31cases of non-phlegm,Its included in the analysis and research.2. Collecting the clinical data of the study,For example,gender,age,body mass index,smoking history,history of alcohol consumption, triglyceride,cholesterol,fasting glucose,creatinine,urea nitrogen,uric acid,atherosclerosis detection,and so on.3. Analyze the collected data by univariate analysis,bivariate correlation,two logistic regression analysis, analysis of covariance.Results1. Univariate analysis:BMI, LDL and Cr of phlegm group is greater than the non-phlegm group,there is a very significantly difference between the two groups (p=0.000,p=0.008,p=0.004, p<0.01);DBP, CHOL,URIC of phlegm group is higher than the non-phlegm group,while HDL is lower than the non-phlegm group,the two groups is a significant differencere(spectively p=0.012,p=0.026,p=0.015,p=0.035,p<0.05);other indicators between the two groups is no difference,such as Age,Sex,Smoke,Drink,SBP, AST,TG,FPQLDH,a-HBDH,CK,CKMB.2. Two Logistic regression analysis of multiple factors in hypertension of phlegm:Screening found that HDL,LDL,Cr is the major risk factor for phlegm(p=0.021,p=0.008,p=0.017,p <0.05),which the adjustment of various confounding factors,the relative risk of LDL(OR) is1.456(p=0.008),95%confidence interval(1.103,1.922);the relative risk of Cr(OR)is1.021(p= 0.017),95%confidence interval(1.004,1.039);the relative risk of HDLC(OR)is0.401(p=0.021),95%confidence interval(0.184,0.872).3. Correlation analysis:between the two groups of SBP,HDL,FPG,URIC and BMI is very significantly correlated (r=0.127,p=0.004;r=-0.134,p=0.003;r=0.155,p=0.000;r=0.121,p=0.005.p <0.01);And,betweenning DBP,TG,LDL,Cr and BMI is also significantly correlated (separately r=0.105,p=0.017;r=0.112,p=0.011;r=0.102,p=0.021;r=0.092,p=0.035.P<0.05).4. Group analysis of Arteriosclerosis detection:(1) univariate analysis,the two groups of BMI,DBP,CHOL,LDL,Cr is a very significant difference (p=0.000,p=0.003,p=0.002,p=0.001,p=0.002,p<0.01);and the two groups of FPG,Rdbp,Rfsbp is a significant difference(p=0.013,p=0.015,p=0.034,p<0.05);however,Sex,RbaPWV LbaPWV,RABI and LABI is no differences(p>0.05);(2) covariance analysis,there is no different of the two groups,such as,RbaPWV,LbaPWV LABI(p=0.229,p=0.915,p=0.510,p>0.05);however the RABI is a very significant difference(p=0.000,p<0.01),the RABI of phlegm group is lower than the non-phlegm group’s;(3) correlation analysis,separately doing RbaPWV,RABI,LbaPWV,LABI with BMI, TQ CHOL, HDL, LDL,FPG,Cr,URIC,Ipsilateral upper and lower extremitys’ sbp and dbp,Calculating the correlation coefficient, it can conclude that the relation of betweenning LDL, rsbp, RFsbp, RFdbp and RbaPWV is a significantly positive correlation (separately r=0.160, p=0.050; r=0.329, p=0.000;r=0.374,p=0.000;r=0.166,p=0.043.P<0.05); HDL,URIC,RFsbp,and RABI is aslo a significant correlation (r=-0.259, p=0.002; r=0.215, p=0.009; r=0.301,p=0.000;p<0.05);it can conclude that the relation of betweenning CHOL,LDL,lsbp,ldbp,LFsbp,LFdbp and LbaPWV is a significantly positive correlation(separately r=0.211,p=0.010;r=0.3311,p=0.000;r=0.461,p=0.000; r=0.192,p=0.020;r=0.480,p=0.000;r=0.183,p=0.026p<0.05);however,the relation of betweenning HDL and LABI is a significant negative correlation (r=-0.231, p=0.006p<0.05).Conclusion1. Phlegm in hypertensive patients compared with non-phlegm are more likely to occur ugar, lipid metabolism disorders, renal dysfunction is an independent risk factor for phlegm in hypertensive patients.2. RABI of the phlegm hypertensive patients is much lower than non-phlegm,the likelihood of atherosclerosis compared with phlegm is much larger.
