| Objective:to study correlation of the newly diagnosed nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients about TCM syndrome differentiations and clinical TNM staging, in order to improve efficacy of prevention and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, And providing evidence based medicine of new staging, and a better assistance serological indicators。Methods:choose the newly diagnosed ninty-eight nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, before radiotherapy and chemotherapy, give each a classification type according to the Chinese medicine dialectical typing standard (lung heat tyPe, phlegm stagnation type, blood stasis blocking colla terals, blood stasis and Phlegm stagnation type); give a corresponding staging、according to the new stangards (Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳa); draw the whole blood of EBV-DN A levels and serum EBV-V CA-IgA antibody titers in stages and record.Two months after radiotherapy over, give Nasophary nx MRI and systemic examination.Results:1.There was significant difference in the four groups of TCM syndromes and the TNM staging (P=0.000);2. There was no significant difference between serum of EBV-VCA-IgA Positive rate and TNM stage (P=0.189).3.There was no significant difference between EBV-DNA levels and TNM staging in the whole (P=0.074);But EBV-DNA levels in the Phase III and II was a significant difference (P=0.024); also Phase III and IVa (P=0.022).4. after treatment, EBV-DNA levels have high negative rate; effective evaluation of efficacy; but no sifnificant difference in suggesting metastasis or eflect changes in diseases (P=0.095)Conclutions:1.There was relevance in the four groups of TCM syndrome and the TNM staging2. There was no relevance between serum of EBV-VCA-IgA positive rate and TNM stage.3. There was relevance about EBV-DNA levels and clinic staging;4. EBV-DNA have high negative rate, superior to EBV-VCA-IgA positive rate, effective evaluation of efficacy,but cannot suggest changes in diseases to some extent,maybe with the small number of cases. |
