Observation Of Clinical Efficacy On IgA Nephropathy Treated By The Way Of Benefiting Qi, Nourishing Yin And Promoting Blood Circulation

Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effects of IgA nephropathy (IgA nephropathy, IgAN) by the way of benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting blood circulation.Materials and methods:All60patients of primary IgAN were randomly divided into two groups, whose renal pathologic change was between grade I to grade III according to Lee’s method determined by pathologist.In the control group (n=30) took modern medicine routine treatment with ARB. The treatment group (n=30) accepted the TCM treatment of benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting blood circulation in additional except the same medicine in the control group. These two groups took3months in total as one course of treatment. Before and after a course of treatment, test the changes of the lab index such as urine erythrocyte count, urine routine, urine protein of24hours, renal function ((serum creatinine(Scr),and blood urea nitrogen(BUN)), serum immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA and IgM) and complement C3.And then to judge the efficacy and safety of the benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting blood circulation method in treating IgAN.Results:1st,In the end of a course of treatment, out of the treatment group7patients(23.3%) showed complete remission,16obviously remission. The total effective rate was86.7%. In the control group, there were5patients (16.7%) showed complete remission,8obviously remission, and the total effective rate were66.7%. The total efficiency rate of the treatment group was superior to that of control group(P<0.05).2nd,In the therapy group, the changes were significant different on hematuria and proteinuria before and after the treatment(P<0.01). In the control group, it is found that before and after the treatment, only the proteinuria changed was significant.(P<0.01).3rd, Compared with those in both groups after treatment, hematuria in the treatment group decreased remarkably than that in the control group(P<0.01), the proteinuria improved was significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).4th,After treatment, the serum IgA level was significantly lower in the treated group (P<0.01), but no change in the control group(P>0.05). The benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting blood circulation method can remarkably reduce the hematuria, proteinuria and the serum IgA level, so it is likely to reduce the damage of kidney, delay the deterioration of kidney disease, and improve prognosis. To some extent, the total curative effect in the treatment group was better than in the control group, and during the course of treatment had not found side effects. All of these studies made it clear that it is safety, effective and feasible to treat IgA nephropathy whose renal pathologic change was between grade Ⅰ to grade Ⅲ by the way of benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting blood circulation.
