Objective: To study the potassium channel β subunits KCNE1gene polymorphismand xinjiang G38S, kazak atrial fibrillation correlation analysis KCNE1-G38S in xinjiangregion in the crowd kazak distribution characteristics. Methods: The data of xinjiangregion kazak atrial fibrillation (AF Group) and the crowd of people atrial fibrillation(Control Group) the100people of peripheral blood sample specimens, extract DNA, thepolymerase chain reaction-extinction enzymes fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP), agarose electrophoresis analysis KCNE1gene identification method ofG38S genotype and allelic distribution, the multiple Logistic regression analysis(unconditional various factors and the correlation of atrial fibrillation. Results: KCNE1gene G38S site AA, AG, GG genotype frequency respectively in atrial fibrillation group0.13(13/100),0.34(34/100) and0.53(53/100), in the control group were0.15(15/100),0.52(52/100) and0.23(23/100), two groups of genotype distribution are statisticallysignificant differences (2=9.06, P=0.011), and atrial fibrillation group G allelefrequency (0.70) was much higher than those in the control group (0.515)(2=14.35,P=0.000); Logistic regression analysis showed that KCNE1genetic polymorphism andkazak involved in atrial fibrillation, genotype GG of OR value is0.392,95%CI:0.172-0.895. Conclusion: KCNEl-G38S gene G alleles in patients with atrial fibrillationis higher than the control group. KCNEl-S38G polymorphism possible sites, districtdifference races.
