Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression changes of survivinmRNA、 BCRP mRNA and Ki-67mRNA in breast cancer after Vinorelbine plusEpirubinciin regimen(NE regimen)neoadjuvant chemotherapy and efficiency ofneoadjuvant chemotherapy.Search for biological markers to predict the effect ofneoadjuvant chemotherapy with NE.Methods:There were56cases of breast cancerpatients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy NE regimen,using RT-PCR method todetect survivin mRNA,BCRP mRNA and Ki-67mRNA expression before and afterchemotherapy and to analyze the differences in the relation ship withchemotherapy.Results:1.The overall response rate of breast cancer in neoadjuvantchemotherapy NE was76.79%(43/56), which cCR accounted14.29%(8/56), pCR10.71%(6/56), cPR62.50%(35/56), SD21.43%(12/56),PD1.79%(1/56),respectively.2.The efficientrate of the individual positive expression of survivin mRNA、BCRP mRNA were lowerthan the negative groups,though Ki-67was opposite (P <0.05).Synchronously the formertwo indicators of negative expression and the last indicator of positive with chemotherapywere superior to other groups(P <0.05).3.Before chemotherapy,the expression of survivinmRNA was significantly associated with Ki-67mRNA,and the expression trend wascoincident.But there was no relationship between the expression of BCRP mRNA andsurvivin mRNA or Ki-67mRNA(P>0.05).4.The positive expression rates of survivinmRNA,BCRP mRNA and Ki-67mRNA decreased after chemotherapy.The difference wasstatistically significant(P<0.05).5.The expression of these three genes were relation with patient’s tumor size、histology classifications、lymph node metasis and hormone、receptorexpression to different degree(P<0.05).Conclusions: NE regimen is an efficiencive andsecure neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer. The expression of survivin mRNA、BCRP mRNA and Ki-67mRNA had a near correlation with the pathogenesis of breastcancer and the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy NE.As well as these three genes weredown regulated after NE regimen chemotherapy.The combined of detection the expressionof survivin,BCRP and Ki-67in NE regimen is helpful to predict sensitivity ofneoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer.
