Objective: To investigate the related factors of primary osteoporosis (POP) and thealteration of bone metabolism and factors in eldly patients with primary hypertension, coronary artery disease (CRD) and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). wetry to find high risk population of osteoprosis, then by clinical intervention, to offeravailable proof for primary prevention and then reduce osteoporotic fracture in senile. Methods: A case-contro study was conducted at The first affiliated hospital of XinjiangMedical University, in which120patients with primary osteoporosis and120healthyControls were sampled and interviewed. We performed questionnaire survey for thesegroups, including: name, age, gender, nationality, job, financial situation, degree ofeducation, gynecological conditions, smoking or not, drinking or not, etc. Then we madeunivariate analysis and Logistic regression analysis for the obtained data. Results: In theunivariate analysis show: the age, gender, nationality, education, financial situation, bodymass index, number of pregnancy, years after menopause, estrogen use, history of fracture, milk consumption, coffee consumption, tea consumption, calcium supplement, smoking, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases are the statistically related with primaryosteoporosis. Non-conditional logistic multivariate analysis reveals that the age, gender, nationality, history of fracture, prolificacy, tea and coffee consumption are statisticallysignificant risk factors of primary osteoporosis, appropriate body mass index, and calciumsupplement are the protective factors for the primary osteoporosis. Conclusion:1) Age,sex, nationality, history of fracture, smoking, drinking tea and drinks coffee are the important risk factors for primary osteoporosis in senile, whereas cultural degree (college orabove), body mass index (>25kg/m2), filling calcium and drink milk are protectivefactors of primary osteoporosis.2) Age of menarche late, productive often drink tea maybe older women primary osteoporosis, the onset of important risk factors. The proper body mass index, taking the female hormone, filling calcium, drinking milk is itsprotective factors.3) Older’s chronic obstructive pulmonary disease due to the boneabsorption hyperthyroidism, bone formation down, cause reduced bone mineral density, eventual ly leading to the primary osteoporosis, it is the important risk factorsprimaryosteoporosis disease.
