Objective: we analyzed many data which are from patients who suffer from OHSS.Methods: We respectively compared46patients with moderate to severe OHSS occuringfrom2010-01to2011-08, with46patients without OHSS,who are choscen randomly frominfertile women at the same period in our reprductive center, including age, serum estraial(E2) level and the amount of white blood cell in blood on the day of using HCG and themunber of eggs. Results:46patients with moderate to severe OHSS occurred during950cycles of lonerolled promote ovaluation (a rate of4.84%), clinical manifestations inculdeabdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, weight increase, and even bosomwater, ascites, difficulty breathing, blood concentration and ovarian increase in size insome severe patients. After comprehensive treatment, all the patients are hospitaldischarge with better condition, with no one termination of pregnancy. The differentbetween OHSS group and normal group including E2leve, the munber of eggs and theamount of white blood cell in blood on the day of using HCG are statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: OHSS can be predicted according to age, E2leve, the munberof eggs and the amount of white blood cell in blood on the day of using HCG, during thecontrolled promote the ovulation. And the implementation of promoting the ovulation withdrugs should adhere to individual principles. After knowing the inducing factors, OHSScan be prevented. As far as those who have suffered OHSS should be given strictobservation and reasonable treatment.
