Objective:To assess the clinical efficacy of the regularly drainage in the treatment of severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS) Companied Pleural Fluid or Ascites. Methods:Retrospective analysis the clinical data of 22 patients(6 cases merger pleural Fluid)with severe OHSS who prescribe periodic catheter drainage combined with symptomatic treatment such as expansion, anticoagulation therapy. Results:No chest and abdominal visceral organs injured in the process of drainaging and no complications occurred, such as Pleural reaction、pneumothorax、reexpansion pulmonary edema. The average duration of Thoracic Drainage was(11.50±7.42) days, and abdominal drainage was(7.40±3.98) days. After catheter drainage, the indicators such as white blood cell count(WBC), hematocrit value(HCT), urea(UR), creatinine(CR), total protein(TP),albumin(ALB), plasma fibrinogen(FIB) and abdominal girth got lower significantly, but the 24 hours urine volume increased significantly, all the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Catheter drainage can rapidly relieve dyspnea, significantly improve Hypercoagulable, increased renal perfusion. It is a method of treatment of OHSS that is safe, effective, easy operation and fewer complication.
