The Study Of Community Physicians’ Behavioral Ways And Patterns Under The Background Of The National Essential Drug System

The World Health Organization says that more than80%of the health problems can be solved in the community. The Community Health Services should be the cornerstone of the National Health Service System, and the community physicians should serve our people on health care as a "gatekeeper". But with the development of China’s Medical and Health Sector in the market economic system, the pursuit of maximized self-interest replaced the public welfare of health care, the basic health services lost its function gradually, and the community physicians didn’t play their role well. At present, the National Essential Drug System has been initially established, which makes the community health service institutions set services function in a new position. The institutions have faced towards the basic level masses, ensured the basic medical, and paid more attention on the public health service. But there is still a long way to run to achieve the purpose of standardizing drug using behavior, rationally using essential drugs, offering better public health services, and avoiding drug abuse.At the moment the community physicians’health service behavior hasn’t meet the requirement of the National Essential Drug System. Therefore, the ways of improving the community doctors’behavior, promoting the use of essential drugs, prompting physicians to spend more time and energy on the public health services, serving people at a full range and making the New Medical Reform play its role of bringing benefit to people well are all the important contents of this study.This study is divided into five parts. First part gives definition of the community physicians and their behavioral way. This part also shows the difference between our community physician, GP, and the family doctor.The second part puts forward the basic situation of health service under the background of the National Essential Drug System. And it describes the basic situation of Nanjing, the education background and train situation of Baixia District.The third part divides the physicians’basic medical behavioral way into two parts to analyze. One is about diagnosis and treatment, the other one is about initial diagnosis and the two-way referral. By combining the interview content, the collected data and the summarized literature, this study concludes existing problems and difficulties. And according to those problems, the countermeasures and suggestions have been given.Part IV analyzes the situation of the community physicians offering the basic public health service act. It also gives the problems and the solutions.Part V discusses how to promote community physician behavior to improve and supply a total of six aspects of operational thinking and suggestions.Conclusion:It is very important to explore the behavior and patterns of community physicians with the influence of policy. The promoting of behavioral ways and patterns has a great effect on ensuring the basic medical care and the basic public health service. This study can lead community health service to a fair and reasonable direction. It also has very important reference value on making, modifying follow-up policy and guiding implementation effect.
