14Years Retrospective Clinical Analysis Of Total Hip Replacement In Department Of Orthopaedics Of China-Japan Union Hospital Of Jilin University

Objective:Through a retrospective analysis of1429hips during past14years,to investiga the history of total hip replacement the present situation and eases charact-eristics in China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University.Methods:1429hips were operated in China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University from January1998to December2011. Analysis patients and constitute factors such as characteristic of regional distribution, operation technology and historical evolution characteristics.Results:1429hips were operated in China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University from January1998to December2011.Male544while feminine443,the ratio isl.2:1. The biggest was81years old,youngest was14years old. the average age was54.5years old. There were545unilateral total hip replacements in545patients, and772bilateral total hip replacements in386patients.56patients of non-replacement of112hips over the same period. The reasons for surgery are avascular necrosis of femoral head、congenital hip dysplasia、femoral neck fracture、ankylosing spondylitis、bone tumors and prosthesis loosening after total hip arthroplasty. Jilin Province total hip replacement patient populations mainly gathered in Changchun and the surrounding areas, other areas were relatively few in number and more dispersed. There was9cases in1998, it grew to407cases in2011.12senior surgeons can carry out the THR and the operation cases showed an increasing trend year by year, but the average operation time is shortened gradually trend.For total hip replacement, the average duration time of surgery declined from96.7±12.65minutes during1998-2004to55.3±11.26minutes during2005-2011.Conclusions:1、Male patients were predominated in the total hip replacement operations. Patients are mainly distributed in Changchun and the surrounding area:2、 The proportion of male patients are more than female patients, consistent with the domestic authority of the proportion reported in the literature. The average age of patients has been reduced.3、The number of THA cases increased year by year.and the surgeon who can do the operation of THA increased.4、For total hip replacement, the average duration time of surgery declined from96.7±12.65minutes during1998-2004to55.3±11.26minutes during2005-2011.The prevention of DVT improved the inci-dence of postoperative deep vein thrombosis.5、The surgical techniques become more sophisticated,and the doctors can handle a variety of deformities to achieve good surgical results after surgery.
