Objective:Hypertesion is closely related to arteriosclerosis and blood pressure variability (BPV) represents the blood pressure fluctuation level in a certain period of time. Recent study has shown that BPV is independently related to the impairment of target organs. By observing the relationship of BPV with PWV and hsCRP in primary hypertension subjects, this study discusses the effects of BPV on pulse wave velocity (PWV) and high sensitive C-reative protein (hsCRP).Methods:101primary hypertesion subjects of Cardiovascular Dept were collected in Hunan provincial people’s hospital from June,2011to January,2012.24h ambulatory BP monitoring was used to monitor and analyse24h, day and night systolic and diastolic BPV of101primary hypertesion subjects, using Japanese Colin Automatic atherosclerosis detector to simultaneously document and analyse reports, including Limb BP (the right upper arm, the left upper arm, right ankle and left ankle), Pulse Pressure (PP), brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV); Enzyme standard of polyclonal antibody clip method was used to measure serum hs-CRP and analysis the relationship of BPV with baPWV and hs-CRP..Results:(1) baPWV increased as mean daytime systolic, mean nightime systolic, mean24h systolic BP, as mean PP increased (r=0.292、0.328、0.312、0.289, P<0.05respectively).(2) subjects with increased baPWV, while compared with normal ones, have older age,and higher SBP, DBP, PP, hs-CRP, FPG and serum uric acid level (P<0.05); futher analysis shows that baPWV is significantly positively corelated with age, SBP, FPG, hs-CRP, of which age, FPG and hs-CRP are independent factors of baPWV (P<0.01).(3) After adjusting mean BP and other corelating factors, linear regression analysis indicates that daytime, nightime and24h systolic BPV, baPWV is positively corelated with inflammatory factor hs-CRP (r=0.315、0.328、0.392、0.354, P<0.05,respectively).(4) systolic BPV is positively corelated with baPWV and hs-CRP (P<0.05)Conclusions:baPWV and hs-CRP increase as Systolic BPV rised.
