ObjectiveTo investigate the genetic polymorphisms of children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) in the T cell receptor constant alpha chain gene(TCRCα) loci-560C/T and575A/G.Method36cases of patients with HSP and60healthy children as controls were studied in this research. T cell receptor constant alpha chain gene(TCRCα) loci-560C/T and575A/G were detected with polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method (PCR-RFLP).Result(1) For the locus-560C/T of TCRCα, there was no significant difference between genotype frequencies of CC, CT and TT in HSP patients and controls (χ2=5.39, P>0.05).But there was significant difference between allele frequency of C and T types in HSP patients and controls (χ3=4.69, P<0.05).(2)For the locus-575A/G of TCRCα, there was no significant differences between genotype frequencies of AA, AG and GG in HSP patients and controls (χ2=1.07,P>0.05). And there was no significant difference between allele frequency of A and G in HSP patients and controls (χ2=1.01,P>0.05).Conclusion(1) The ploymorphisms of locus560C/T of T cell receptor constant alpha chain gene α might be related with HSP.(2) The polymorphism of locus575A/G of T cell receptor constant alpha chain gene had not been found association with HSP.
