Research On Correlativity Between Auricular Point Po Sitivity And Different Varieties And Stages Of Lumbar Vertebra Problems

Objective: This research adopts visual observation of skin surface changes, tactilepalpation of auricular tenderness, electrical detection of ear reflex points to determine thepositive reactive auricular points of the patients with lumbar vertebra problems in order tofind out the correlativity between the positive reactivity of auricular diagnosis and thevarieties, entire course of lumbar vertebra problems, on which the clinical diagnosis andtreatment of lumbar vertebra problems will be based.Method: In this research,100patients with lumbar vertebra problems are divided intothree groups of protruding intervertebral disk, narrow vertebral canal, hyperplastic lumbarvertebra. Comparative group includes30healthy people. Data will be analyzedstatistically and conclusion will be drawn after patients are examined by visual observationof skin surface changes, tactile palpation of auricular tenderness, electrical detection of earreflex points.Result:1. The scores of four respective groups (the whole experimental group,protruding intervertebral disk one, narrow vertebral canal one, hyperplastic lumbarvertebra one) have remarkable differences (P <0.000) from that of the comparative group.2.After the positive reaction points are tested by chi-square test, the result of protrudingintervertebral disk group shows that9points of lumbar vertebra, shenmen, sciatic nerve,sympathesis, kidney, bladder, liver, adrenal gland, ear apex are proved to have statisticalvalue (P <0.05); the result of lumbar vertebra hyperplasia group shows that10points ofshenmen, adrenal gland, lumbar vertebra, sympathesis, sciatic nerve, kidney, endocrine,spleen, bladder, stomach are proved to have statistical value (P <0.05); the result of narrowvertebral canal shows that10points of lumbar vertebra, liver, toe, spleen, kidney, sciatic nerve, sympathesis, heel, stomach, shenmen are proved to have statistical value (P <0.05).3.The patients are divided into experimental groups of3stages according to differentdurations.The scores of2groups compared respectively are P <0.017. That demonstratesthe obvious differences among these3groups. Therefore, the research reaches theconclusion that the more durative the problem exists, the more distinct the pathologicalpositivity to auricular detection turns out to be.Conclusion:1. The detective result shows that the remarkable difference exists between patientswith lumbar vertebra problems and healthy people, which reveals auricular diagnosis’unique feature.2. Statistical test result proves that lumbar vertebra, shenmen, sciatic nerve,sympathesis, kidney, bladder, liver, adrenal gland, ear apex are correlative points withprotruding intervertebral disk; that shenmen, adrenal gland, lumbar vertebra, sympathesis,sciatic nerve, kidney, endocrine, spleen, bladder, stomach are correlative points withlumbar vertebra hyperplasia; lumbar vertebra, liver, toe, spleen, kidney, sciatic nerve,sympathesis, heel, stomach, shenmen are correlative points with narrow vertebral canal.3. The more durative the problem exists, the more distinct the pathological positivityto auricular detection turns out to be.
