[objective] By method in radiography, the height of lumbar vertebra (anterior vertebral height , posterior vertebral height and media vertebral height) and the length of thoracic and lumbar segments of the spine are measured in living body. The regression formulae and multiple regression formulae for estimating stature are obtained from these measurements that are adapt to the Han population in China nowadays. These accumulate data for forensic anthropology and forensic radiology.[Methods] The height of lumbar vertebra and the length of lumbar segments of the spine were measured in living body by computed radiography (CR) . And the length of thoracic segments of the spine was measured by digital radiograph (DR). At same time, we measured stature of living body.
