The author applied theHouse Brackmann (H-B) facial nerve function grading system as a functional assessmentof efficacy evaluation, observed the changes in the patients and statistically analyzed thedata so as to observe whether there was difference between the two groups. Results: The treatment group had the total effective rate of100%,while the controlgroup with the corresponding rates of96.7%.There was a significant difference betweenthe two groups(P<0.05).The cure rate of80.7%and66.7%, and there was no significantdifference between the two groups(P>0.05). In the two group of cured patients number, average healing times in treatment group was8.962±2.52, controls the mean recoverytimes for23.60±4.27,(P <0.01). Two cured patients treatment there is a significantdifference between the treatment group recovered, the number was less than that of thecontrol group. In the same recovery time the treatment group can save the treatment timesof patients, reduce the suffering of patients, regular treatment for patients. Conclusion: This paper shows that compared with the regular clinical practice ofacupuncture treatment of wind-cold lock collaterals of facial paralysis, the effect oftreatment is much the same as that treated through the application of Elbow-tremblingmassage integrated with experience-oriented points.
