Objective: Through the comparison between minimally invasive percutaneous plateosteosynthesis (MIPPO) technology and traditional open reduction and internal fixation(ORIF) technology in the treatment of middle and distal tibial fractures clinical efficacy,the use of a summary of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis of MIPPOtechnique in treatment of middle and distal tibial fractures treatment experience.Methods: study of cases from the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University ofTraditional Chinese Medicine in2009July to2011September orthopaedic ward from40cases of middle and distal tibial fracture patients, met the inclusion and exclusion criteria,age18~70year old, right side in12cases, left in8cases, in accordance with the AOstandard classification of which type A fractures in19cases,13cases of fracture of type B,type C fracture8cases, open fractures (Gustilo type):3cases of type I, type1. Using arandom number table is divided into two groups, with group MIPPO for the experimentalgroup, OPIF control group. According to the open fractures, AO soft tissue injuryclassification decision operation time. For the soft tissue swelling without heavy closedfractures and can tolerate the operation patients with open fractures, from within8h afterinjury operation. All soft tissue injury severity of closed fractures and cannot tolerateoperation of patients with open fractures to the calcaneus traction injury, after3~12D softtissue swelling, infection, and then treated with surgical operation. After1years offollow-up, using Johner-Wruh efficacy assessment system in good to excellent yields,using statistical analysis, contrast observation of clinical efficacy.Conclusion: The two group in the operation time, bleeding volume, length ofhospital stay and clinical healing time has significant difference (P <0.05); in thepostoperative complications have significant difference (P <0.05); Johner-Wruhspostoperative therapy effect assessment score excellent rate has significant difference (P <0.05).
