The Medial And Lateral Malleolus Osteotomy Approach For Treatment Of Complex Talar Fracture

Objective: To introduce the internal or external malleolus osteotomy approachoperation in treatment of complex fracture of the talus method, discusses the operationapproach and curative effect in the near future.Method:2009February to2012February,12cases were complicated talus fracture, male8, female4, age18~44year old, average age is27.6years old; high fall injury in8cases,3cases of traffic accident injuries, heavy injuredin1cases; the left talus fracture in8cases, right talus fractures in4patients with anklefractures in3; cases, open fracture and dislocation in1cases, were applied by internal orexternal malleolus osteotomy approach operation.Results: All patients were followed up,followed up for8months to3years, average time of2years. According to patients’complaints, the heel and ankle shape, function and imaging to evaluate the clinical efficacyof operation approach. According to Hawkins standards of efficacy: excellent in6cases,good in3cases, in2cases, poor in1cases, the excellent and good rate was75%, all caseswere no body of talus necrosis. Conclusion: The medial and lateral malleolus osteotomyoperation approach for treatment of complex talar fracture is a good method to.
