The Clinical Research Of Qingre Lishi Tongqiao Method In Chronic Sinusitis

The diseases in the otorhino-laryngology should be thought highly of.Chronic rhino sinusitis (CRS) refers to the chronic inflammation of nasal cavity and thePara nasal sinus mucous membrane, which continues for more than12weeks and is gettingmore and more serious. The typical symptoms are nasal obstruction，viscosity and Purulentnasal mucus and so on. It is a common and frequently-occurring disease in the nasology. Itis called rhinorrhea with turbid discharge in Chinese medicine. through the tentativeobservation of the patients who have applied the Qingre Lishi Tongqiao Decoction to theCRS, the objective of this study is to discuss the influence on CRS of using Chinese herbaldrug.Objective: By comparing the effect and difference between Qingre Lishi TongqianDecoction and Bi-Yuanshu mixture, the Purpose Of the study is to reflect the advantage ofChinese medicine in this aspect. At the same time，it is hoped that theories and Practicescan be Provided in this domain.Methods: With the design of prospective，randomized，double-blind，blank control，we observed60patients in total. All the Patients were diagnosed with CRS in westernmedicine，and in accordance with BiYuan caused by heat in spleen meridian in TraditionalChinese Medicine(TCM). They were divided into two groups: The treatment group weregiven the with Qingre Lishi Tongqiao Decoction for7days. And the blank control groupwere the Bi-Yuanshu mixture for7days. Both groups were treated for three courses. Wemade a careful observation of observing the changes of symptoms and physical signs at thebeginning and ending of the experiment, and record adverse reactions.Results: After counted with statistics, the clinical observations show that both groups are effective. Thetotal effective rate of the treatment group is86.67％,while the total effective rate of thecontrol group is73.33％.There is quite significant difference between them（P<0.05）Theefficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group. All symptoms andsigns of both groups were improved（P<0.01）.There are no obvious adverse events in thetreatment for two groups patie.Conclusions: Traditional Chinese medicine Qingre Lishi Tongqiao Decoction is avery effective treatment, which can effectively relieve or alleviate sinusitis patients withnasal obstruction, purulent nasal discharge flow, headache and other symptoms, reduce thedegree of swelling of nasal mucosa, the nasal cavity to improve ventilation and promotethe recovery of physiological function of the nasal cavity. Qingre Lishi TongqiaoDecoction is a easy, safe and effective method of treatment.
