Carbon monoxide poisoning is one of the most primary cause of death in the human beings poison to death. Determination of carbon monoxide poisoning is largely dependent on the body concentration of carboxyhemoglobin. Many methods have been built to detect the concentration of the carboxyhemoglobin (COHb) in human body. But all of the methods now available can’t detect the whole concentration range of COHb accurately.A more comprehensive and accurate calculation formula of contents in the blood is derived by using UV-visible spectrophotometer method. Free from the influence of contents, the detection limit of the formula is in the range of0~100%. Comparatively, the traditional calculating formula can calculate accurately only over30%. Meanwhile, an automatic carboxyhemoglobin analysis system is established by compiling the corresponding automatic analysis software. The auto-calculating program can overcome the errors caused by manual calculation. In addition, by analyzing the relationship between carboxyhemoglobin in the blood of heart and blood in cancellous bone, the automatic carboxyhemoglobin analysis system plays a key role in identifying cause of death, especially in the arson cases. The range of its applicability is hence extended. We found that the sponge bone blood is very valueable to quantitative analysis the carboxyhemoglobin concertration. And we researched the environment and smoking custom affected the carboxyhemoglobin concertration of human blood.The mainly innovations in this dissertation include:a new view on the choice of the biological samples; a new carboxyhemoglobin concentration formula based on the UV-visible spectrophotometry with the applicable concentration range extended to0-100%; composing the corresponding calculation software to make computing more convenient and more accurate.
