Objective:To explore a new methods of operation which can improve clinical efficacy of the procedure for prolapse and haemorrhoids (PPH).Methods:Thirty samples are divided into two groups(n=15) randomly. The therapy group adopts purse-string suture height away from the tooth line2cm at the rectal mucosa of PPH; the control group adopts purse-string suture height away from the tooth line4cm at the rectal mucosa of PPH. Observing and analyzing the clinical curative effect, time of operation, postoperative complications or sequelae and so on.Results:Compare to the two groups, the pains at the first day and wound edge edema are different(P<0.05)(the contrast group were better than the treatment group);the urinary retention, stool obstruction at1week are also different(P<0.05)(treatment group were better than the contrast group);there have no obvious differences in the recent clinical cure rates, operation time, intraoperative bleeding and lower abdominal pain, postoperative pain, edema, bleeding, prolapse, tenesmus and anal discomfort, fecal urgency (P>0.05). The tenesmus and anal discomfort, fecal urgency are different(P<0.05)(the contrast group were better than the treatment group); there have obvious differences in prolapse after PPH in the long-term follow-up at24weeks (P<0.05)(treatment group were better than the contrast group);there have no obvious differences in the long-term follow-up at24weeks after bleeding, stool obstruction (P>0.05). The two groups did not occur perianal infection, incontinence, rectovaginal fistula, intestinal fistula, pelvic infections and other serious complications and sequelae. Conclusion:Reduce the height of PPH purse-string suture can improve long-term effects treatment of circumferential mixed hemorrhoids, can protect the normal structure of the anal canal anatomy and physiology, and obvious not increase the postoperative complications.PPH is applicable for treating reducible hemorrhoidal prolapse.
