Objective To analysis the affecting factors of treatment seeking behavior from rural people who participate the NRCMS. Based on the qualitative analysis of HRCMS, I use the binary logistic regression to screen the affecting factors from the independent variables, including patients’ and hospitals’ characteristics, then to provide references for studying and making relevant health policies and adjusting health system. Methods Research data is acquired from database of NRCMS in Zhangjiagang and Suining in Jiangsu province in2008.Considering the integrity and representative of the data, and the distribution of patients in the two types of hospitals, I use stratified random sampling method to choose the patients with respiratory system, digestive system or circulation system of disease as the research object, in order to make the statistical evaluation of model.Research methods include comparison analysis and binary logistic regression method, and the SPSS18.0software is used. Conclusion The affecting factors of treatment seeking behavior from rural people who participate the NRCMS are the number of medical establishment of one person, health technicians, beds, medical service price and disease types. According to the study, I suggest that the government should improve approach of financing, further intensify efforts to financing and compensation proportion, and establish a reasonable and effective compensation mechanism; At the same time fully introduced market competition, strengthen the cooperation between hospitals and personnel management, so as to distribute health resources and solve medical problems.
